‘Dookudu’ is a much awaited romantic action movie starring one of the reigning super stars of Telugu film industry Mahesh Babu. Other artistes in this movie are Sonia Agarwal of Happy Days fame, Abhimanyu Singh, Prakahs Raj, Sonu Sood, Brahmanandam, Sayaji Shinde, Nazar and others. Dookudu is directed by Sreenu Vaitla, Thaman. S has composed the music. It is produced by Anil Sunkara, Gopinath Achanta and Ram Achanta. The story is of an informer. Dookudu is scheduled to be released on September 23, 2011.

Velayudham features Tamil star Vijay in the role of Velu, a simple villager who lives in the village with his widowed mother, a girlfriend (Hansika) and a sister who has to be married. He comes to Chennai to collect money from a chit fund company where he has invested for his sister’s marriage. How he accidentally becomes a fictional character ‘Velayutham’ created by a journalist Genelia, and continues to unmask the villains who incidentally also own the fake chit fund company is what the story is about. The movie is directed by Raja M, while music is given by Vijay Anthony. Oscar Ravichandran is the producer. The movie is expected to be released during Diwali 2011.
